Let's look into this case of a female police officer sacked in Ekiti.
   Omolola is a corporal serving policewoman at the lye Divisional Police Headquarters in Ilejemeje LGA in Ekiti. She was dismissed from the police force for getting pregnant out of wedlock less than one year of joining the force.
      According to the Police Public Relation Officer in the state, Omolola breached the section 127 of the Police Act and Regulation that forbids a woman police from getting pregnant out of wedlock which is part of the Rules she agreed to adhere before joining the police.
    The PPRO also said that you must introduce someone as your husband and getting pregnant without doing this is an embarrassment to the police force. 
   "What about the male police officer do they get sacked too when they get someone pregnant out of wedlock or is the punishment meant for only the female officers"
